In conjunction with writer Shane Acker and Focus Features, Rocket XL created the back-story for the animated film 9, produced by Tim Burton. Along with the official site, RXL created and managed the entire social media presence including Facebook, Twitter and Flickr communities. Plus, we created many interactive and portable application components to compliment a very robust campaign.

Rocket XL was tasked with expanding the target audience beyond gamers for the Guitar Hero franchise. We built an addictive and competitive demo application from scratch and distributed it through numerous social media outlets. The application generated over 12 million game plays and over 5 million unique users globally.

To accomplish this, we developed a dual sided application that became very popular on Facebook, MySpace, and the rest of the blogosphere.

Converse Music Collaboration Campaign

Converse released the first music collaboration during Holiday/Fall ‘08 with designs for Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, and The Doors. The second release for The Spring ‘09 collections continues with designs for The
Who, Ozzy Osbourne, and Pink Floyd. The collections are now available nationwide in Journeys stores, Journeys.com, and Converse.com with the acception of the Ozzy and Pink Floyd collabs that will be released in
mid-February and March.

The Dove Self-Esteem Fund is part of the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, a global effort designed to widen today’s stereotypical view of beauty. The Dove Self-Esteem Fund (DSEF) was established as an agent of change to inspire and educate girls and young women about a wider definition of beauty. The DSEF is committed to help girls build positive self-esteem and a healthy body image, with a goal of reaching 5 million girls globally by 2010. It has already reached 2 million young women.
